My new fish friend Ichigo!
My mother brought him home after work as a surprise. Sadly, the little guy was a walmart rescue. Once he got home, we had to nurse him back to health a little before we put him in his tank. We were afraid he wouldn't be able to swim to the top of the deep tank for food since he was so weak.
However, the second I placed him in his new tank, he began to flare his gills at his own reflection. Somehow at that moment, his feisty temper reminded me of the Bleach character Ichigo. The name stuck!
